Target Information
TIAM1 modulates the activity of RHO-like proteins and connects extracellular signals to cytoskeletal activities. It acts as a GDP-dissociation stimulator protein, stimulating GDP-GTP exchange activity of RHO-like GTPases and activating them. TIAM1 activates RAC1, CDC42, and to a lesser extent RHOA, and is required for normal cell adhesion and migration.
