Target Information
TIAM1 modulates the activity of RHO-like proteins and links extracellular signals to cytoskeletal activities. It acts as a GDP-dissociation stimulator protein that enhances the GDP-GTP exchange activity of RHO-like GTPases, activating RAC1, CDC42, and to a lesser extent RHOA. TIAM1 is required for normal cell adhesion and migration.
