Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

This antibody shows specificity for human PRTFDC1.
Target Information
Phosphoribosyl transferase domain containing 1 (PRTFDC1) is highly homologous to hypoxanthine phosphoribosyltransferase (HPRT1) and may have originated from a gene duplication event. CpG islands in the PRTFDC1 promoter can be hypermethylated in ovarian and oral squamous-cell carcinomas, leading to gene silencing. Restoration of PRTFDC1 expression inhibits cell growth, while knockdown promotes it, suggesting that PRTFDC1 acts as a tumor-suppressor gene. At least three isoforms of PRTFDC1 are known.
