Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
XDH (Xanthine Dehydrogenase) is a molybdenum-containing hydroxylase involved in oxidative metabolism of purines.
The enzyme is a homodimer and can be converted to xanthine oxidase by reversible sulfhydryl oxidation or irreversible proteolytic modification.
Defects in XDH may cause xanthinuria, contribute to adult respiratory distress syndrome, and potentiate influenza infection through an oxygen metabolite-dependent mechanism.
