Target Information
Brg1 (Brahma-related gene 1) is an ATPase subunit of SWI2/SNF2-like chromatin-remodeling complexes that enable access of regulatory and effector proteins involved in transcription, DNA repair, and replication.
Brg1-containing complexes regulate hundreds of genes related to interferon and stress response, immune cell differentiation, neurogenesis, and cell cycle.
It is essential for mouse embryogenesis and also plays roles in cell growth arrest, senescence, and tumor suppression.
