This antibody detects endogenous levels of total TBCA protein.

Target Information

The TBCA gene product is one of four cofactors (A, D, E, and C) involved in the pathway for correctly folded beta-tubulin. Cofactors A and D stabilize beta-tubulin intermediates, while cofactor E interacts with the D/beta-tubulin complex. Cofactor C then facilitates the release of beta-tubulin polypeptides committed to the native state.
