Target Information
HEF-1은 세포 이동성, 성장, 세포사멸 및 종양형성과 관련된 인테그린 기반 신호전달에 관여하는 다기능 단백질입니다. Cas 패밀리 단백질은 초점접착 키나아제(FAK) 및 Src 패밀리 티로신 키나아제의 기질로, 약물 개발의 주요 표적입니다. HEF1 단백질의 과발현은 세포 이동성, 전환 및 침습성과 관련된 단백질의 mRNA 발현을 증가시키며, MCF7 및 HeLa 세포 등 상피세포 유래 세포주에서 세포사멸을 유도합니다. 또한 BCAR1(p130Cas)의 과발현은 타목시펜 내성과 관련이 있어, 암 예후 연구에서 이 단백질 패밀리의 중요성을 강조합니다.
