Target Information
This gene encodes one of three subunits that form the cleavage stimulation factor (CSTF), which is involved in polyadenylation and 3′ end cleavage of pre-mRNAs. The protein contains transducin-like repeats similar to mammalian G protein beta subunits. Several transcript variants with different 5′ UTRs, but encoding the same protein, have been identified.
