Target Information
성인 헤모글로빈(HbA)은 두 개의 α사슬(HBA)과 두 개의 β사슬(HBB)로 구성된 사량체입니다.
β글로빈의 돌연변이는 겸상 적혈구 빈혈을 유발하며, β사슬의 결핍 또는 감소는 각각 β⁰-지중해빈혈과 β⁺-지중해빈혈을 초래합니다.
β-글로빈 유전자 클러스터의 순서는 5’-epsilon–gamma–G–gamma–A–delta–beta–3’입니다.
