Product Specific Information
Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.

This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Reacts specifically with S1 protein. Cross-reactivity from other sources has not been determined.
Target Information
GST (Glutathione S-transferase) is a 26 kDa protein present in both eukaryotes and prokaryotes, where it catalyzes various reactions.
Glutathione S-transferase is used to create the GST gene fusion system, allowing purification of GST-fusion proteins via high affinity for glutathione.
Fusion proteins provide a valuable tool for studying direct protein-to-protein interactions.
The GST gene fusion system has been incorporated into numerous expression vectors.
