Product Specific Information
A 1:1,000 dilution of PA5-77796 was sufficient for detection of TCF4 in 15 µg of mouse liver cell lysates by ECL immunoblot analysis using goat anti-rabbit IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
Detects 71 kDa and 45 kDa bands (45 kDa represents a different isoform).
Target Information
TCF4 (Transcription Factor 4) is a basic helix-turn-helix transcription factor that recognizes an E-box (CANNTG) motif, initially identified in immunoglobulin enhancers.
The gene is predominantly expressed in pre-B-cells but is also found in other tissues.
Mutations in this gene are associated with Pitt-Hopkins syndrome.
