Target Information
Histone H3는 모든 진핵세포의 염색질에 존재하는 DNA 결합 단백질로, 다른 코어 히스톤 단백질들과 함께 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성합니다. 히스톤은 전사 조절, DNA 복제 및 수선, 염색체 안정성 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
H3의 N-말단 꼬리는 다양한 번역 후 변형(post-translational modification)을 통해 크로마틴 구조와 전사 인자 결합에 영향을 미칩니다. 이러한 변형에는 라이신 및 아르기닌의 메틸화, 아세틸화, 세린 및 트레오닌의 인산화 등이 포함됩니다.
