Target Information
AHR (Ah Receptor)는 ARNT (HIF-1 Beta) 및 Drosophila 단백질 PER, SIM과 관련된 단백질군에 속합니다. N-말단 약 200 아미노산 길이의 PAS 도메인을 포함하며, 다양한 조직에서 발견됩니다. AHR은 특정 DNA enhancer 서열에 결합하여 cytochrome P-450 (CYPIA1) 유전자의 전사를 유도합니다.
이 유전자는 planar aromatic hydrocarbons에 대한 생물학적 반응 조절에 관여하는 리간드 활성화 전사인자를 암호화합니다. AHR은 cytochrome P450과 같은 xenobiotic 대사 효소를 조절하며, 다양한 방향족 화합물을 리간드로 인식합니다.
리간드 활성화된 helix/loop/helix 전사인자로서, vertebrate 종에서 발견됩니다. 알려진 리간드는 polycyclic 및 halogenated aromatic compounds (예: 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin, TCDD)입니다.
비활성 상태에서는 HSP90과 복합체 형태로 세포질에 존재하며, 리간드 결합 시 핵으로 이동하여 Arnt와 이합체를 형성합니다.
AHR 관련 질환으로는 eosinophilic fasciitis 및 seborrheic dermatitis가 보고되어 있습니다.
