Target Information
AHR (Ah Receptor)는 ARNT(HIF-1 Beta) 및 Drosophila 단백질 PER, SIM과 관련된 단백질 계열에 속합니다. N-말단 약 200 아미노산으로 구성된 PAS 도메인을 포함하며, 다양한 조직에서 발현되어 특정 DNA enhancer 서열에 결합하고 cytochrome P-450 (CYP1A1) 유전자의 전사를 유도합니다.
AHR은 planar aromatic hydrocarbons에 대한 생물학적 반응 조절에 관여하는 리간드 활성화 전사 인자입니다. 다양한 방향족 탄화수소 및 할로겐화 방향족 화합물(TCDD 등)을 리간드로 가지며, HSP90과 복합체를 형성한 상태로 세포질에 존재하다가 리간드 결합 시 핵으로 이동하여 Arnt 단백질과 이합체를 형성합니다.
AHR 관련 질환으로는 eosinophilic fasciitis 및 seborrheic dermatitis가 보고되어 있습니다.
