Cytokeratin 7은 약 54 kDa의 단백질로, 대부분의 선상 및 이행상 상피에서 발현됩니다. 본 항체는 파라핀 포매 조직의 면역조직화학 분석에서 다양한 상피세포 유형(특히 관상 및 선상 상피)에서 Cytokeratin 7을 검출합니다.
주로 중층편평상피에서는 반응하지 않으며, 요로의 이행상피에서는 반응을 나타냅니다.
양성 조직 예시: 췌장암, 방광암.
다른 필라멘트 단백질(vimentin, desmin, GFAP, neurofilament 등)과 교차 반응을 보이지 않습니다.
