Description:
The DREG-56 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD62L, a 76 kDa member of the selectin family. CD62L is expressed by neutrophils, monocytes, and subsets of T, B, and NK cells. It binds glycosylated, fucosylated, and sulfated sialylated glycoproteins including CD34, glycam-1, and MAdCAM-1, mediating lymphocyte rolling on activated endothelium and homing to high endothelial venules (HEV) of peripheral lymphoid tissues.

Each product contains one vial of NovaFluor conjugate and one vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer.

Applications Tested:

• Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells
• Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.2 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)

Important Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining.
  • Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails or single-color controls.
• NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology for engineered fluorescent signatures with reduced spillover and spread.

Target Information

Human CD62L (L-Selectin) is a 74–95 kDa glycoprotein adhesion receptor. It comprises:

• C-type lectin binding domain
• EGF-like domain
• Two short consensus repeat (SCR) sequences
• Spacer, transmembrane, and cytoplasmic regions

CD62L is constitutively expressed on most leukocytes including lymphocytes (except many memory T cells), monocytes, and polymorphonuclear cells.
