Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 30% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Frizzled-1 is observed.
- Less than 5% cross-reactivity with rmFrizzled-4, recombinant human Frizzled-5, rmFrizzled-6, and rmFrizzled-8.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.50 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
This intronless gene belongs to the frizzled gene family, which encodes seven-transmembrane domain proteins acting as receptors for the Wingless-type MMTV integration site family of signaling proteins.
Frizzled-2 is coupled to the beta-catenin canonical signaling pathway.
Competition between Wnt3A and Wnt5A gene products for binding to Frizzled-2 regulates beta-catenin-dependent and -independent pathways.
