Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the DEAH-containing family of RNA helicases. The encoded protein catalyzes ATP-dependent unwinding of double-stranded RNA and DNA-RNA complexes. It localizes to both the nucleus and cytoplasm and functions as a transcriptional regulator. It may also participate in expression and nuclear export of retroviral RNAs. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Pseudogenes are found on chromosomes 11 and 13.
