Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are composed of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity and consistency of monoclonal antibodies.
They recognize multiple epitopes on the target, providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance proteins.
Each lot contains a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, ensuring reproducibility and eliminating biological variability.

Target Information
The Caspase 3 gene encodes a cysteine-aspartic acid protease involved in apoptosis.
Sequential activation of caspases drives cell death processes. Caspase 3 cleaves and activates caspases 6, 7, and 9, and is itself processed by caspases 8, 9, and 10.
It plays a key role in neuronal death associated with Alzheimer’s disease by cleaving amyloid-beta precursor protein.
Alternative splicing produces two transcript variants encoding the same protein.
