Target Information
CD21 (complement receptor 2, CR2, C3D receptor, EBV receptor)는 C3 보체 단편과 결합하며, 면역복합체의 흡수 및 유지, 메모리 B세포의 생존, 체액성 면역 반응의 발달과 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 Epstein-Barr virus의 결합 수용체로 작용하며, 프리온을 여포 수지상세포로 전달하여 신경 침입을 촉진하는 과정에도 관여합니다. 용해형 CD21(sCD21)은 림프구 표면에서 분리되어 리간드 결합 능력을 유지합니다. CD21은 C3d, C3dg, iC3b, EBV 및 IFNα의 수용체로 기능하며, CD23과 결합하고 CD19, CD81, Leu13과 함께 B세포 활성화에 관여하는 신호전달 복합체를 형성합니다. CD21 유전자 변이는 전신성 홍반 루푸스 9형(SLEB9)의 감수성과 관련이 있습니다. 다양한 스플라이싱 변이체가 보고되어 있습니다.
