Target Information
CD21 (Complement receptor 2, CR2, C3D receptor, EBV receptor)는 C3 보체의 분해 조각과 결합하며, 항원 표면에 부착된 보체 활성화 단백질과 면역복합체의 흡수 및 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 CD21은 Epstein-Barr virus의 주요 결합 수용체로 작용하며, 프리온을 여포성 수지상세포로 전달하고 신경 침투를 촉진하는 데 관여합니다.
CD21은 C3d, C3dg, iC3b 보체 성분, EBV 및 IFNα에 대한 수용체로 기능하며, CD23과 결합하고 CD19, CD81, Leu13과 함께 B세포 활성화에 관여하는 신호 전달 복합체를 형성합니다.
CD21 유전자 변이는 전신성 홍반성 루푸스(SLEB9) 감수성과 관련이 있으며, 다양한 스플라이스 변이체가 보고되어 있습니다.
