Target Information
CD21 (complement receptor 2, CR2, C3D receptor, EBV receptor)는 C3 보체 단편과 결합하며, 면역복합체의 흡수 및 유지, 메모리 B세포의 생존, T-의존 항원에 대한 체액성 면역반응의 발달 및 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 Epstein-Barr virus의 결합 수용체로 작용하며, 프리온을 여포 수지상세포로 표적화하고 신경 침투를 촉진합니다. CD21은 C3d, C3dg, iC3b, EBV, IFNα 등의 리간드와 결합하며, CD23, CD19, CD81, Leu13과 연합하여 B세포 활성화에 관여하는 신호전달 복합체를 형성합니다. CD21 유전자의 변이는 전신홍반루푸스(SLEB9) 감수성과 관련이 있으며, 다양한 스플라이싱 변형체가 보고되어 있습니다.
