For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The PVRL1 gene encodes an adhesion protein involved in the organization of adherens and tight junctions in epithelial and endothelial cells.
It functions as a calcium-independent cell-cell adhesion molecule belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily, containing three extracellular Ig-like loops, a single transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic region.
This protein serves as a receptor for glycoprotein D of herpes simplex viruses 1 and 2, and pseudorabies virus, mediating viral entry into epithelial and neuronal cells.
Mutations in this gene are associated with cleft lip and palate/ectodermal dysplasia 1 syndrome and non-syndromic cleft lip with or without cleft palate.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants with distinct C-termini.
