Target Information
KIAA0947 (ICE1) is a component of the little elongation complex (LEC), which regulates small nuclear RNA (snRNA) gene transcription by RNA polymerase II and III. Acts as a scaffold protein promoting LEC complex formation and RNA polymerase II recruitment at snRNA genes in subnuclear bodies (PubMed:22195968, PubMed:23932780).
