KLRA3 (Ly49C로도 알려짐)는 Natural Killer (NK) 세포의 LY49 수용체 계열에 속하며, MHC class I과 결합합니다.
이 단백질들은 세포질 영역 내 ITIM(억제 수용체) 또는 ITAM(활성화 수용체) 모티프 존재 여부에 따라 활성 또는 억제 수용체로 분류됩니다.
KLRA3는 억제 수용체로 알려져 있으며, peptide-receptive H-2Kb를 인식합니다.
