Target Information
PVRL1 (NECTIN1) 유전자는 상피 및 내피 세포의 부착연접(adherens junctions)과 밀착연접(tight junctions) 형성에 관여하는 세포접착 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 칼슘 비의존적 세포 간 접착 분자로, 세 개의 세포외 면역글로불린 유사 루프, 단일 막관통 영역, 세포질 영역을 포함합니다. 또한 단백질은 단순포진바이러스(HSV-1, HSV-2) 및 가성광견병바이러스의 당단백질 D에 대한 수용체로 작용하여 상피 및 신경 세포로의 바이러스 진입을 매개합니다. 해당 유전자의 변이는 구순열 및 구개열/외배엽이형성증 증후군, 비증후성 구순열과 관련이 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 인해 서로 다른 C-말단을 가진 여러 전사 변이체가 생성됩니다.
