This antibody detects endogenous levels of MORC2 only when phosphorylated at Ser615.
Target Information
MORC2 exhibits a cytosolic function in lipogenesis, adipogenic differentiation, and lipid homeostasis by increasing the activity of ACLY, possibly preventing its dephosphorylation. It may act as a transcriptional repressor and down-regulates CA9 expression.
