The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The TIMM17B gene encodes a multipass transmembrane protein that is an integral component of the mitochondrial translocase TIM23 complex. This complex facilitates the transport of mitochondrial proteins from the cytosol across the inner mitochondrial membrane into the mitochondrion. A pseudogene for this gene exists on chromosome 12. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
