The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
ZBTB17 is a transcription factor that can function as an activator or repressor depending on its binding partners. It targets negative regulators of cell cycle progression and plays a critical role in early lymphocyte development by preventing apoptosis in lymphoid precursors, allowing survival in response to IL7 and proper lineage commitment. It has been shown to bind to the promoters of adenovirus major late protein and cyclin D1 to activate transcription and is required for early embryonic development during gastrulation.
