Target Information
The IL-1F5 protein is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family.
It inhibits NF-kappaB activation induced by IL1F6.
This gene is part of the interleukin 1 family gene cluster on chromosome 2.
Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been reported.
