Product Specific Information
- Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration.
- For extended storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
- Centrifuge if not clear after standing at room temperature.
- Stable for several weeks at 4°C as undiluted liquid. Dilute only before immediate use.
- Specific for bovine CXCL10 protein.
- BLAST analysis indicates 100% homology with bovine CXCL10; partial reactivity (94–95%) expected with sheep and goat.
- Cross-reactivity with CXCL10 from other species not determined.
Target Information
IP-10 (interferon-gamma induced protein 10 kD; also known as Crg-2 or mob-1 in mouse) is a primary response gene of the CXC chemokine family.
First cloned in 1985, its biological roles include:
- Stimulation of monocyte, NK, and T-cell migration
- Regulation of T-cell and bone marrow progenitor maturation
- Modulation of adhesion molecule expression
- Inhibition of angiogenesis
Mig and IP-10 share the same receptor, CXCR3.
