Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They consist of a selection of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, while maintaining batch-to-batch consistency.

These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot contains a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, ensuring reproducibility and eliminating biological variability common to polyclonal production.

This antibody is predicted to react with Rat and Bovine.

Target Information

Histone H3 is one of the core DNA-binding proteins in eukaryotic chromatin. Together with other histones, it forms the nucleosome structure that organizes and compacts DNA. Histone H3 plays key roles in transcription regulation, DNA repair, replication, and chromosomal stability.

The N-terminal tail of H3 undergoes various post-translational modifications such as methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation, which influence chromatin structure and gene expression.
