Target Information
DR5 (Apo2, TRAIL-R2, TRICK2, KILLER)는 TRAIL에 의해 유도되는 세포자멸사(apoptosis)를 매개하는 death domain을 포함한 수용체입니다.
TNF receptor superfamily의 구성원으로, 세포 내 death domain을 포함합니다.
TRAIL (TNFSF10/TRAIL/APO-2L)에 의해 활성화되어 apoptosis 신호를 전달하며, FADD 단백질이 DR5 매개 세포사멸에 필요함이 보고되었습니다.
DR5는 다양한 세포 유형에서 발현되며, 특히 림프구와 비장에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
DR5 기능 이상은 편평세포암종(squamous cell carcinoma) 및 diffuse infiltrative lymphocytosis syndrome과 관련이 있습니다.
