The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues P(32) E Q D R L P Q R S W R Q K(45) of human TERE1, showing 85% sequence identity to mouse and rat.
Target Information
The TERE1 gene (UBIAD1) plays a significant role in growth regulation in bladder and prostate cancers.
It maps to a chromosome locus associated with tumor suppressor genes identified in multiple cancer types.
Loss or downregulation of TERE1 expression may contribute to advanced disease phenotypes.
