Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening of individual clones to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
The carboxyl terminus of hsc70-interacting protein (CHIP) interacts with both hsc70 and hsp70. This 35 kDa cytoplasmic protein is highly expressed in striated muscle and across various cultured tissues. CHIP binds to the carboxyl terminus of hsc70 and hsp70, reducing ATPase activity and chaperone efficiency. It functions as an E3 ubiquitin-ligase within the ubiquitin-proteasome system, containing a U-box domain and acting in conjunction with hsc70 and hsp90.
