Target Information
이 단백질은 ADAM (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase) 단백질 패밀리에 속하며, 세포 부착 및 사이토카인·접착분자의 ectodomain 절단에 관여하는 type I 막단백질입니다.
이 단백질은 zinc-binding metalloprotease domain, disintegrin-like domain, EGF-like domain을 포함합니다.
Disintegrin-like domain을 통해 integrin β3 사슬과 상호작용하며, Src family tyrosine kinase와 인산화 의존적으로 결합하여 세포 간 부착 및 신호전달에 관여합니다.
여러 가지 alternative splicing 변이체가 보고되어 있습니다.
