Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 100% cross-reactivity with recombinant rat 4-1BB/TNFRSF9 is observed.
- In Western blots, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human 4-1BB and recombinant mouse EDAR is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
CD137 (also known as TNFRSF9 or 4-1BB) is an inducible costimulatory molecule expressed mainly on activated T cells. Its ligand, 4-1BBL, is expressed on activated macrophages, mature B cells, hematopoietic stem cells, and myeloid progenitor cells.
CD137 signaling contributes to the survival and clonal expansion of activated and memory T cells, while modulating myelopoiesis and dendritic cell development. Soluble CD137 forms may act as negative regulators in immune responses.
