Product Specific Information
- In sandwich ELISAs, approximately 20% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse ADAM9 is observed.
- Less than 0.05% cross-reactivity with recombinant human ADAM8, ADAM10, TACE, TIMP-1, TIMP-2, TIMP-3, TIMP-4, BACE-1, and mouse ADAM10.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
ADAM9 is a member of the ADAM (a disintegrin and metalloprotease domain) family. Members of this family are membrane-anchored proteins structurally related to snake venom disintegrins and are involved in biological processes such as cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, fertilization, muscle development, and neurogenesis.
This protein interacts with SH3 domain-containing proteins, binds mitotic arrest deficient 2 beta protein, and participates in TPA-induced ectodomain shedding of membrane-anchored heparin-binding EGF-like growth factor.
