This antibody has specificity for Human TNFRSF21/DR6.
Target Information
DR6 (Death Receptor 6) is widely expressed in human tissues and cell lines. Its ligand has not been identified. Apoptosis is induced by certain cytokines including TNF and Fas ligand through death domain-containing receptors such as TNF-R1 and Fas. Several novel death receptors including DR3, DR4, and DR5 have been identified. DR6, a newly cloned death domain-containing receptor in the TNFR family, interacts with the adapter molecule TRADD. Overexpression of DR6 induces apoptosis and activates NF-κB and JNK pathways.
