TNFR1 (Tumor necrosis factor receptor 1)은 TNF superfamily에 속하며, 주요 TNF-α 수용체 중 하나입니다.
TNFR1은 cytokine 매개 신호전달, NF-κB 경로의 양성 조절, 혈관신생의 양성 조절, 유전자 발현의 음성 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
TNFR1의 extracellular domain은 순환계로 방출되어 soluble TNFR1(sTNFR1) 형태로 존재합니다.
인간에서 TNFR1 유전자는 염색체 12에 위치하며, BAG4/SODD, TRADD, TRAF2 단백질과 상호작용하여 신호전달 조절에 관여합니다.
TNFR1의 extracellular domain 변이는 autosomal dominant periodic fever syndrome과 관련이 있으며, 수용체 제거 장애가 질병 기전으로 제시됩니다.
