• Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage.
• Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.
• Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
• Product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute only prior to immediate use.
• This antiserum is directed against human and mouse FBX4.
• Reactivity against homologues from other sources is not known.

Target Information

FBXO4 encodes a member of the F-box protein family, characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid F-box motif.
F-box proteins are part of the SCF (SKP1-cullin-F-box) ubiquitin ligase complex, which functions in phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination.
The F-box proteins are divided into three classes:

1. Fbws – containing WD-40 domains
2. Fbls – containing leucine-rich repeats
3. Fbxs – containing different protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs

The FBXO4 protein belongs to the Fbxs class. Alternative splicing generates two transcript variants.
