Product Specific Information
The monoclonal antibody SolA15 recognizes mouse and rat Ki-67, a 300 kDa nuclear protein present during all active phases of the cell cycle (G1, S, G2, and mitosis) but absent from resting cells (G0). Ki-67 redistributes from the nucleus to chromosomes during mitosis and serves as a marker for cell proliferation.
SolA15 also reacts with human, non-human primate, and canine Ki-67.

Intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of stimulated mouse splenocytes using the Foxp3/Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Set (Product # 00-5523-00). Recommended ≤ 0.125 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Optimize titration for best performance.

eFluor® 450 is an alternative to Pacific Blue®, excited at 405 nm and emitting at 445 nm. Ensure instrument compatibility with violet laser detection.

Target Information
Ki-67 is a nuclear protein expressed during late G1, S, G2, and M phases of the cell cycle. It associates with euchromatin and heterochromatin structures and shows distinct localization patterns across cell cycle phases. Ki-67 is widely used as a proliferation marker since it is absent in G0 cells and increases through mitosis.
In neoplastic tissues, Ki-67 index correlates with tumor grade and prognosis, providing valuable information on cell growth fraction. It is also used as a neuronal marker of cell cycling and proliferation.
