Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the NEDD4-like protein family, which possesses ubiquitin-protein ligase activity. The encoded protein contains four tandem WW domains (35–40 amino acids each) characterized by conserved aromatic residues. These domains mediate specific protein–protein interactions. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
