This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%) to prevent contamination.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal production candidates.

Target Information

VTN is a member of the pexin family, found in serum and tissues. It promotes cell adhesion and spreading, inhibits the membrane-damaging effect of the terminal cytolytic complement pathway, and binds to several serpin serine protease inhibitors.
The protein is secreted and exists either as a single chain or as a clipped, two-chain form held together by a disulfide bond.
