Description:
This ILCID2 monoclonal antibody recognizes mouse and human ID2. It requires the Foxp3/Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Set and performs poorly with standard IC Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Set.

Applications Tested:

• Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes using the Foxp3/Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Set (Product #00-5523-00).
• Recommended use ≤1.0 µg per test (100 µL final volume).
• Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test (empirical).
• Antibody titration recommended for optimal performance.

• eFluor™ 450 is an alternative to Pacific Blue™.

Target Information

The inhibitor of DNA binding 2 (ID2) protein promotes the development of various cell types, including natural killer cells, erythroid precursors, and CD8⁺/CD4⁺ T-cells. Lack of ID2 promotes B-cell development. ID2 associates with E proteins and other HLH family members, preventing DNA binding and transcription activation. Activation of ID2 is essential for natural killer cell lineage development.
