Target Information
CD34는 111–115 kDa의 고도로 당화된 단량체 표면 단백질로, 다양한 줄기세포 집단에서 발현된다.
인간 조혈줄기세포에서의 발현은 가역적이며, 세포 부착, 분화, 증식 조절에 관여하는 수용체로 작용할 수 있다.
CD34는 줄기세포가 골수 기질세포 또는 세포외기질에 부착하도록 매개하는 접착 분자로 추정되며, selectin과 상호작용하는 당사슬 리간드의 발현에도 관여할 수 있다.
세포내 영역은 protein kinase C에 의해 인산화되어 신호전달에 역할을 할 가능성이 있다.
CD34 이상 발현은 dermatofibrosarcoma 및 neurofibroma와 관련이 있다.
