Target Information

ZO-1은 ZO-2 또는 ZO-3과 복합체를 형성하며, claudin, occludin, F-actin과 결합하여 actin cytoskeleton과 tight junction을 연결합니다.
ZO-1 발현은 여러 유방암 세포주에서 감소되어 있으며, 세포 간 신호전달에 관여합니다.
ZO-1은 세포막의 세포 간 tight junction에 위치하며, 두 가지 isoform을 암호화하는 전사 변형체가 존재합니다.
ZO-1 기능 이상은 셀리악병(Celiac Disease) 및 선천성 신증후군(Congenital Nephrotic Syndrome)과 관련이 있습니다.
