Target Information
SFPQ (PSF)는 유전자 발현 조절 및 스플라이싱에 관여하는 핵 내 인자로, NONO와 이합체를 형성하여 DNA 결합 및 손상 복구 과정에 참여합니다.
최근 연구에서는 SFPQ가 tau 단백질의 하위 표적임이 밝혀졌으며, Alzheimer’s disease(AD) 환자 뇌의 뉴런과 성상세포에서 SFPQ의 핵 내 결핍 및 세포질 축적이 관찰되었습니다.
SFPQ 단백질은 세포 유형에 따라 약 47, 52 또는 100 kDa 크기로 나타날 수 있습니다.
