Rab interacting lysosomal protein (RILP)는 RAB7과 상호작용하는 리소좀 단백질로, 소형 GTPase RAB7은 엔도솜 분해성 구획으로의 운반을 조절합니다. RILP는 RAB7의 하위 효소로 작용하며, 두 단백질은 후기 엔도솜 교통의 조절에 함께 관여합니다. RILP의 과발현은 세포 중심부에 위치한 확장된 리소좀을 유도하며, 이는 리소좀 형태 조절에도 관여함을 시사합니다. 또한 RILP는 다중소포체(multivesicular bodies) 생합성에도 역할을 할 수 있습니다.
