M3TNFABI detects TNF alpha with a predicted molecular weight of approximately 26 kDa.
It targets TNF alpha in ELISA and Western blot applications and shows reactivity with Canine, Feline, Human, Non-human primate, and Porcine samples.
The MTNFAI antibody (clone E10043) has been successfully paired as the coating antibody in a sandwich ELISA with detection antibody M3TNFABI (biotinylated conjugate of clone E10041).

Lyophilized antibody should be reconstituted with 0.5 mL of distilled or deionized water to make a 0.1 mg/mL solution.

Target Information

TNF alpha is a multifunctional proinflammatory cytokine belonging to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily.
It is mainly secreted by macrophages and binds to receptors TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 and TNFRSF1B/TNFBR.
TNF alpha regulates immune cells, cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, lipid metabolism, and coagulation.
It exists as multimers (dimers to pentamers) but shows a single 17 kDa band under non-reducing SDS-PAGE conditions.
Knockout studies indicate neuroprotective functions and tumor necrosis activity.
TNF alpha is involved in immune responses to infections and tumor necrosis, and is implicated in autoimmune diseases, insulin resistance, and cancer.
